README
@agimon-ai/po-skill
The session skill catalog for Po.
Po discovers plugin skills first, shared .claude/skills second, and repository .po/skills
third. The server awaits discovery and registers each loaded skill once, merging its admitting
domains into an any-of gate. Repository skills are unconditional. Commands and MCP discovery
follow the same domain gates; MCP eligibility is tracked separately.
Pi globally deduplicates skill names. A plugin skill can therefore shadow a same-name shared fallback even when its domain is off. Selection-aware fallback is not currently supported.
The session agent uses load_skill to read instructions by exact name. With at most 20 active
skills, its tool description lists their names and descriptions and search_skills is hidden.
Above 20, search_skills is available with all active names in its description, and returns
matching names and descriptions without bodies or paths. The host updates this surface as
skill activation changes.
Contributing skills
Configure plugin skill directories and subsets in domains.yaml, use shared .claude/skills,
or add repository skills under .po/skills. Discovered skills are registered by po-skill, not
po-domain. Package-owned resources use named resource/*.server.ts routes with host conditions
for major modes, minor modes, or domains. The host owns activation and attribution.
Help guidance
While the Help minor mode is active, this package contributes help-how-to-author-skill for creating
and distributing skills and help-how-to-skill for browsing, invoking, and diagnosing them. Both
prompts are published under src/prompts and routed through this package's llms.txt.
Installation
Po depends on this package and activates it as fixed host core, so a Po install already has
it. It is not selectable from .po/modes.yaml.

Plugin entries live in src/extensions, host events and commands in routed surfaces, and catalog and discovery logic in named src/services folders. src/exports contains public helpers and types. The server awaits its async declaration factory to discover named skill commands before registration and startup.
