README

opencode-api-gateway

A plugin to use API Gateway models from OpenCode, OpenClaw, pi and omp.

Installation

OpenCode

  1. Add the plugin to your OpenCode config (~/.config/opencode/opencode.json):

    {
      "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json",
      "plugin": ["@jingbh/opencode-api-gateway"]
    }

    On OpenCode v2, load @jingbh/opencode-api-gateway/v2 alongside it to get canonical model metadata folded into the v2 catalog.

  2. Start OpenCode and use /connect to authenticate.

OpenClaw

  1. Install the plugin:

    openclaw plugins install @jingbh/opencode-api-gateway
  2. Authenticate and set a default model:

    openclaw models auth login --provider api-gateway --set-default

Beyond chat models the OpenClaw plugin also registers embeddings (memory search), media understanding (image, audio and video) and image generation for every gateway that serves the matching models.

pi

Install the package globally for pi:

pi install npm:@jingbh/opencode-api-gateway

Restart pi (or run /reload), then run /login api-gateway (and /login our-gateway for a self-hosted one).

omp

Install the plugin globally for omp:

omp plugin install @jingbh/opencode-api-gateway

Restart omp, then run /login api-gateway (and /login our-gateway for a self-hosted one).

Configuration

Every host opens the same local configuration page in a browser. It supports:

  • Account login — the machine-learning platform username (phone number) and password, then a user group and token. This is the only path that also reads the gateway's own model pricing.
  • API Key — a gateway token, without pricing.
  • Self-hosted gateway — a base URL plus an API key.

An API key can also come from API_GATEWAY_API_KEY (hosted) or OUR_GATEWAY_API_KEY (self-hosted) instead.

Uninstallation

OpenCode

  1. Remove the plugin from your OpenCode config.
  2. Optionally remove ~/.config/opencode/api-gateway.json (cached model list).

openclaw plugins uninstall opencode-api-gateway

pi remove npm:@jingbh/opencode-api-gateway

Optionally delete ~/.pi/agent/opencode-api-gateway.json (cached model list).

omp
