README

pi-resume-filtered

/resume-filtered for pi — a collapsible tree picker for resuming sessions.

Pi's built-in /resume always renders its whole parent/child session tree expanded. With hundreds of subagent sessions, the list is unusable. This picker keeps the same tree relations but loads collapsed: roots only, each parent badged with its hidden child count.

Resume session — 42 shown (collapsed by default)

› general-purpose#auth-audit: check token refresh · 18 msgs · 2h
  ▶ general-purpose#review-batch · 64 msgs · 3h · 12 child sessions (→ to expand)
  · my weekend project · 210 msgs · 2d

Keys: ↑↓ navigate · → expand · ← collapse · Space toggle · Enter resume · type to filter · Esc cancel. Long lists window with scroll indicators. In non-tui modes it falls back to a filtered flat list.

It is agent-framework agnostic: children collapse by default regardless of what spawned them; sessions whose parent lives outside the listing nest under a stub row instead of masquerading as roots; repeated identical runs fold into expandable groups.
